It’s a cute little bird - but there’s more to it. Merry bird is an example of a product that can only be created with 3-d printing technology.

The bird, and its hinged swing, are printed right inside the cage. No post-production assembly is necessary.

Merry Bird is available in selected stores including The Frozen Fountain in Amsterdam and can be bought online through 3d-printing company Shapeways.

We’re very happy to inform you that Happy Bird earrings and Merry Bird ornaments have been purchased by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and will be available there fall 2011.
